Mass for Suicide Healing and Remembrance
During Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month (September), the Diocese of St. Cloud’s Mental Health Ministry team are offering an opportunity for prayer. I am helping to plan and organize this event with the St. Cloud Diocese. Make sure you know that members of all parishes and communities are invited to join. It’s a Catholic mass, and you don’t have to be Catholic to attend!
This Mass will focus on remembering those who have died by suicide, as well as healing for those who have lost loved ones to suicide or themselves have been impacted by thoughts of suicide. The Mass for Suicide Healing and Remembrance includes a special ritual to remember loved ones; flowers will be available to memorialize those you have lost to suicide, or you may bring your own.
The Mass of Suicide Healing and Remembrance will take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud during their 5pm Saturday evening liturgy. Members of all parishes and communities are invited to join.

“Self-Guided Forgiveness: Process & Practice” Virtual Workshop
Forgiveness can be deeply personal, complex, and meaningful. In this session, Tom Delaney will introduce participants to the REACH forgiveness process, a scientifically validated model that can be used individually or facilitated in groups.
Participants will learn about recent research on the benefits of forgiveness for physical and mental health, personal well-being, and community healing. The session will also explore how forgiveness work can be trauma-informed while still honoring and validating experiences of injustice.
Attendees will leave with a basic understanding of the REACH model and have access to no-cost instructional and supporting materials through the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University.
